Caribbean Dreaming Amidst a Pandemic or "When This Is Over, I'm Going to Belize!"

Times are tough right now.  Every time we turn on the TV, it seems that all we hear about is the next crisis "de jour" and ever-increasing conflict.
Some of our friends have asked why we are moving ahead with our plans in Belize and Ambergris Caye amid a global pandemic and economic uncertainty.

Some may consider it prudent to postpone their dreams.  But for us, our Caribbean dream has become more vivid and vital to us during this pandemic.  Rabbi Hillel once stated:  If not now, when?  We have decided that the time is now to take action to fulfill our dream and create our future.

Sondra is a real estate broker, and she is witnessing the same phenomena in the Durango and Southwest Colorado real estate market.  Folks are beginning to realize that their time on the planet is limited, and it's now time for them to pursue their dream of living in a mountain community.  Major corporations are also now realizing that people working remotely can be as, or even more, productive than in an office setting.  As a result, they are becoming more supportive of such moves.

Our dream is that we will be living part-time in Belize and part-time in Southwest Colorado.  Perhaps it's time to make your dreams and adventures a reality, whether your dreams include the ocean, the mountains, family and friends, or better health.  Do it now!

For those of you who aren't familiar with Belize and its geography, including Ambergris Caye, see the following excellent video by Dennis Kaye: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUIrBDGmNrs.
